Job Description
Assisting the physician in providing direct patient care and health teaching, delivering quality care through excellent customer service, and collaborating with the Physician and nursing staff.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum One (1) year experience in direct patient care
- Prefer experience in phlebotomy and laboratory testing/specimen preparation
- Excellent PC skills
- Currently be licensed as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
- Currently be registered as Medical Assistant by the American Association of Medical Personnel or other governing body
- BLS / CPR certification
- Possess exceptional communication skills, critical thinking skills, and independent decision-making skills
