Job Description
SC&A is seeking a mid-level nuclear engineer/health physicist with experience in environmental assessments and safety evaluations of nuclear facilities for federal and/or state agencies. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline and at least 5 years of experience.
Requirements
- Experience in environmental assessments and safety evaluations of nuclear facilities for federal and/or state agencies
- Experience with evaluating facilities for potential environmental impacts (hydrogeological, human health and safety, air quality, etc)
- Experience using various radiation codes, such as RESRAD, MicroShield, and MILDOS
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance
