Job Description
Join SBM Offshore as an Instrument Technician to execute maintenance and preservation tasks efficiently and safely to ensure the reliability and longevity of equipment. The role involves performing various maintenance and preservation activities, ensuring safety awareness and technical competence in all aspects of maintenance and preservation work on and around the vessel.
Requirements
- Proven experience and/or qualified to N/SVQ/HNC/HND in Instrument Engineering or local equivalent.
- 3 years’ experience desired with offshore experience preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities.
- Good experience of Permit to Work, Instrument/Mechanical Isolation Standards and Risk Assessment.
- COMP ex E’X’ course preferred.
- Medically fit according to The Company GEMS Instruction Health Requirements to Work Offshore.
