Wiring Designer 2 - Grid

This Wiring Designer 2 - Grid role offers a hybrid work arrangement with three days a week in the office and two days remote, working in a project team environment with engineers and designers on high voltage substation design. Responsibilities include preparation of design deliverables, providing technical guidance, and conducting walkdowns at client facilities.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in detailed wiring design
• Familiarity with wiring diagrams for HV Substations
• Associate's Degree in drafting or equivalent technical experience
• Advanced knowledge of computer drafting tools (AutoCAD or MicroStation)
• Ability to visualize parts in 3D without the aid of the computer
• Ability to multi-task from project to project
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
• Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology
