Senior Environmental Associate

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Environmental Associate to join the Energy & Industrial Group. The role involves reviewing and implementing federal, state, and local environmental regulations on projects like power plants, nuclear facilities, and industrial complexes. This position requires strong knowledge of environmental law and engineering principles, and collaborative interaction with diverse project teams.

Requirements

• BS in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field, MS preferred.
• Five or more years of experience in environmental compliance, environmental impact assessment, and/or permitting.
• Familiarity with environmental laws and regulations (National Environmental Policy Act, Threatened & Endangered Species Act, etc.).
• Experience with environmental impact assessments, Phase 1/2 environmental site assessments, licenses renewal and reports. (NPDES, SWPPP/SPCC)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
