Requirements
- One year of experience as a Deputy Sheriff I–Academy Certified in San Joaquin County service
- Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a General Education Development Certificate, or have attained a two-year or four-year degree from an accredited institution
- One year paid experience as a fully sworn peace officer in a California POST Certified Law Enforcement Agency
- Possession of a valid California driver’s license
- Possession of a valid POST Basic Certificate issued by the California Commission on Peace Officers Standards and Training
