Job Description
Samtec, Inc. is seeking a Repair Maintenance Technician to setup, maintain, test, and troubleshoot manufacturing machinery. The role involves working with dies, molds, troubleshooting tooling, and ensuring machinery operates efficiently. The technician will also be responsible for preventative maintenance on problematic issues and providing support to supervisors and engineers.
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in a Technical or Manufacturing environment
- 20/40 correctable vision
- Experience as maintenance or equipment technician
- Experience reading product blueprints
- Electrical experience including proximity sensors, servo motors, PLC’s, or programming & troubleshooting
- Experience in basic machinist skills and soldering
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- CPR/First Aid/AED training
- Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes
- Not suffering from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs
