Job Description
Sampson Construction is seeking a Senior Estimator to prepare budgets, estimates, and prebid packages for commercial construction projects. The role involves managing assigned projects, reviewing documentation, and collaborating with stakeholders. The company is a trusted partner in commercial construction for over 70 years.
Requirements
- Professional communication with all parties involved in the construction project.
- Relationship building with Owner, design team, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Attendance at meetings and site visits.
- Manages project to ensure timely completion of estimates.
- Ability to analyze documents and understand scope of work.
- Execute quantity take-off using construction documents.
- Supervise other members of the estimating team.
- Monitor estimated vs. actual cost.
- Maintain data and database
- Demonstrate knowledge of construction components.
