Job Description
The Operations Coordinator II (Senior Shift Supervisor) will monitor the shelter environment and program systems to ensure security, efficiency, and safety on assigned shifts. Responsibilities include supervising and monitoring the facility, therapeutic environment, and fire and safety practices.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 year of prior experience in a Shift Supervisor or House Manager role in a shelter/transitional or permanent supportive housing
- Experience working with the NYC Department of Homeless Services (DHS) or other similar city operated organization with previous management experience
- FDNY F-80- Certificate of Fitness for Coordinator of Fire Safety and Alarm Systems
- CPR Certification
- NYC Food Handler’s Certificate
