Salted is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with dbt, data modeling tools, and cloud data warehouses. They will work closely with the Business Operations Engineer to design, build, and maintain new pipelines, and develop visualizations, reports, and dashboards for use across the organization.

Requirements

• Fluency in SQL
• Experience with dbt or other data modeling tools
• Experience building data pipelines
• Experience with Python or another programming language
• Experience with data pipelines, cloud data warehouses (ex. BigQuery, Snowflake), and managing data quality & consistency
• Strong analytical thinking, excellent verbal & written communication
• Experience using data to solve operational problems
• Eagerness to learn and deeply understand restaurant operations
