Job Description
The Salt Lake City Sheriff's Office is seeking a Public Safety Deputy to transition between law enforcement and client-focused community policing. The role involves general law enforcement duties at government campuses, arresting people, and providing security for county council members. Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have lived in the country for at least five years and have legal authorization to work.
- Must be at least 21 years of age by the date of hire.
- Must be a resident of the State of Utah at the time of hire.
- Must possess a valid Utah Driver's license at time of hire.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Must not have any disqualifying criminal history.
