Job Description
Safety National is looking for a Senior Manager, Tax to lead the company's monthly, quarterly, and annual tax activities. The role requires a seasoned tax professional with 7 or more years of relevant experience, preferably with a Big 4 CPA or large local firm. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tax accounting and investment tax considerations unique to the insurance industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 7 or more years of relevant tax experience
- 3 or more years of experience within the insurance industry
- 3 or more years of management or supervisory experience
- CPA designation a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Windows Office Suite
- Experience with tax compliance and provision software
- Familiarity with investment tax accounting and management software
