Sacramento Behavioral Healthcare Hospital (SBHH) is a new facility located near downtown Sacramento. As the first newly constructed psychiatric hospital in Northern California in more than 30 years, this hospital offers 117 inpatient acute psychiatric beds, an outpatient treatment center, and a procedures clinic providing electro-convulsive therapy (ECT) and other interventional psychiatry services. We offer a full range of individualized treatment services, adults, and senior adults, including treatment for mental health and co-occurring (mental health and substance abuse) disorders. Additional services include mental health and substance abuse screening, assessment, crisis intervention, consultation, education, and individual and group counseling.
Job Description
This inpatient position requires a confident and skilled Clinician to provide quality case management and therapeutic services to patients and their families, serving as a member of an interdisciplinary team. The role involves managing treatment activities, conducting psychosocial assessments, compiling treatment plan elements, and implementing discharge planning. Clinical services encompass a full range of responsibilities within the organization, including training new staff and participating in departmental cross-training.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field (social work, counseling psychology, mental health, or related).
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)/Associate Social Worker (ASW)/Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)/Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT).
- Valid HWC (Handle with Care) certification.
- CPR certification.
