Job Description
Join Russell Investments in Mumbai as an Associate Manager, Accounting, and lead and oversee accounting operations for our centralized team in India. This role will involve managing a team based in Mumbai, working closely with other accounting teams to ensure regional alignment, timely reporting and compliance with global standards, and participating in various accounting activities such as expense recognition, monthly close cycle, and year-end audit support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5-8 years of progressive accounting and compliance experience
- Strong understanding of accounting and tax fundamentals, including US and India GAAP
- Experience with India financials, tax (TDS, GST, etc) and regulatory requirements and audits
- Prior experience in coordinating audits
- Experience managing teams and developing talent
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and storytelling skills
