Senior Server Engineer

Rush Street Interactive is seeking a Senior Server Engineer to lead the technical design and development of complex features, mentor team members, and drive engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a relevant engineering role
• Ability to lead complex projects, estimate effort, and clear roadblocks
• Expert problem-solving skills with a high level of craftsmanship in coding, testing, and system design
• Proven ability to coach and guide other engineers
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with product owners, managers, and peers
• Deep expertise in Java
• Direct experience integrating payment gateways
• Strong understanding of API security and payment compliance standards (PCI DSS)
