ROM is Canada’s largest museum and Cultural Centre seeking a thoughtful and strategic Curator to lead the programming and presentation of Jewish art and culture through exhibitions, galleries, and other initiatives. The curator will expand the collection, foster cross-cultural and interdisciplinary thinking, and collaborate with local and global communities. The museum is dedicated to transforming lives through a dynamic and inclusive museum experience.

Requirements

• A Ph.D in Jewish art history, visual culture, material culture, anthropology, history, or a closely related field.
• Strong record focused on Jewish arts and heritage.
• Ability to read and write in Hebrew.
• Knowledge of museum environment and program development.
• Track record of working with community partners.
