Financial Accountant

We’re looking for a Financial Accountant/Trainee Accountant to join our Group Finance function, supporting the Ledger Close team. This is a great opportunity for a qualified accountant or someone studying towards an accounting qualification who wants hands on experience within a complex financial environment.

Requirements

• Completed / studying towards a recognised accounting qualification
• Experience or strong working knowledge of general ledger processes, ideally within a large or complex organisation
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel capability; confident using Word and PowerPoint
• An interest in systems and process improvement, with the ability to understand and suggest efficiencies
• A proactive self starter who can manage their own workload, meet deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team
• Clear and confident communicator, able to explain financial information and analysis to a range of stakeholders
