Job Description
Rovio, part of SEGA, is seeking a Senior Technical Manager to lead the technical development of their live game, Angry Birds. This role involves blending technical leadership, people management, and hands-on development, ensuring high-quality game performance. The manager will work with a team within the Puzzle studio and report to the Senior Tech Director.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (10+ years) developing live, free-to-play mobile games.
- Solid experience in people leadership (at least 5 years), with successful management and mentoring of other developers.
- Deep understanding of game architecture and API design (C#/Unity).
- Cooperative spirit and success in defining and implementing technical strategies.
- Live service mindset with expertise in technical KPIs and data-driven maintenance.
- Love for the player experience and collaboration with product and design teams.
