Corporate Counsel

Rodan + Fields is seeking a mid-level attorney with a generalist background and strong familiarity with privacy work, to assist in managing a wide range of corporate legal matters with a focus on employment law, general litigation, data privacy and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Top law school, strong academic record, and a current, good standing member of the California Bar.
• 7-10 years of relevant combined in-house and law firm experience. 2-5 years prior in-house experience strongly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills supporting interaction with various levels of employees and management.
• Ability to understand key business drivers to effectively balance legal risk and business objectives and effectively communicate and resolve issues with business stakeholders.
• Strong work ethic, ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and commitment to meeting work deadlines.
• Ability to work independently, exercise practical business judgment, and organize and prioritize workload.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and manage projects with a team-oriented approach.
• Experience with the regulatory framework impacting skincare and cosmetic industries a plus, but not required.
• Understanding of digital media and e-commerce ecosystems is a plus.
• Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• High integrity and ethical leadership.
• Ability to manage outside counsel for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
