Athletics Coach

Rocketship Public Schools is a non-profit network of public elementary charter schools that propels student achievement, develops exceptional educators, and partners with parents to provide high-quality public schools. The Athletics Coach is an hourly role for educators who want to specialize in physical education, working with students from various grades throughout the day.

Requirements

• Motivate students to participate in learning activities
• Create a positive student culture
• Follow network guidelines for curriculum and adapt when necessary
• Differentiate content by age group and/or grade level
• Collaborate with school staff to develop a positive culture
• Serve as the leader and facilitate large group lessons
• Communicate and collaborate with fellow ECCs, teachers, and school leaders
• Ensure that students have access to a positive and productive learning environment
• Inventory and maintain Enrichment Center materials and accessories
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
