The Quality Engineer will ensure compliance with customer engineering and quality requirements throughout the production process. This includes customer specific quality requirements, procurement and processing requirements, document control, contract review, and job/work quality assurance planning.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in composite quality related roles.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Industrial Engineering preferred.
- Experience with composite materials and processing techniques such as autoclave, RTM, and compression molding.
- Experience with AS9100 quality management system.
- Excellent working knowledge of composites.
- Self-starter with excellent time management skills and ability to establish objectives and specify the strategies and actions to achieve these objectives.
- Understand, follow and adhere to corporate Quality Management System on a daily basis.
- Experience with contact and noncontact inspection methods.
- Experience with data acquisition systems to record temperature, position and pressure.
- Organized, self-motivated, strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple duties, set priorities and follow tasks through completion.
- Capable of working in an environment in which demands and priorities change.
- US Person under 22 CFR 120 (due to ITAR Restrictions)
