Computational Scientist - Oncology

At Roche, we aim to prevent, stop, and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. We are seeking a highly motivated computational scientist to join our Research Oncology disease sub-unit of Computational Biology.

Requirements

• PhD in a scientific or technical field with deep knowledge in bioinformatics and biostatistics, data science, or related field
• Experience in disease biology with specific expertise in Oncology
• Technical expertise in one of more of the following domains: population statistical genetics, integrative multiomics and longitudinal disease modelling, network and/or AI/ML applications in disease biology
• Matrix leader with demonstrable evidence of contributing to high-performing and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong ability to communicate, influence, and lead effectively without formal authority in complex environments
