Business Development Officer

River City Bank is seeking a motivated Business Development Officer to generate new, profitable economic relationships with commercial middle-market borrowers, specifically focusing on owner-occupied real estate loans. The role involves identifying and acquiring banking relationships, onboarding new customers, and marketing proposals to maximize revenue and expand the bank’s market share. Experience with commercial lending practices and strong networking skills are also required.

Requirements

• Meet and exceed loan and deposit production goals as assigned by the Bank.
• Develop, validate, and refer qualified new customers to the Bank’s Commercial Banking or Clean Energy Groups.
• Establish expertise and market knowledge in the Bank’s treasury, deposit and credit products and services.
• Develop prospects from referral leads and other sources.
• Screen and interview prospective new clients to determine financial needs.
• Develop and effectively/professionally communicate sales proposals.
