Job Description
Rittal LLC is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to independently and with a team perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks on equipment. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and ensuring equipment efficiency and effectiveness, supporting company policies and goals. The position requires strong communication skills and adherence to safety standards.
Requirements
- Repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment such as conveyors, compressors, motors and pumps.
- Perform work order repairs.
- Set up and operate welders, drill press, grinder, hand tools and other metal working equipment.
- Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, scissors lift, and articulating boom.
- Participate in plant safety, health and environmental programs.
- Conduct yourself in a professional and courteous manner.
- Carry a phone during normal work hours.
- Maintain 5S standards in the plant.
