Indirect Team Lead - 1st Shift - 25-238

This role is for an Indirect Team Lead responsible for overseeing all aspects of the assembly line. The position focuses on ensuring adherence to production targets (quality, productivity, uptime, delivery, and cost) through process improvement and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. It also involves maintaining a clean work environment, cross-training, and driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Ensure labor and materials are present to meet schedule attainment.
• Ensure a quality product is assembled and packaged according to customer specifications.
• Meet/exceed all targets for Quality, Productivity, Uptime, On-Time Delivery and Cost.
• Must be able to perform work content at every station per work instruction and to takt time.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work environment following 5S principles.
• Oversee cross training of assembly line workers and track training matrices.
• Track daily attendance & complete time sheets.
• Drive continuous improvement to achieve a World Class manufacturing environment.
• Interface with quality, engineering, buyer/planner to resolve production issues.
• Interface with internal suppliers to resolve production issues.
• Actively participate in improving assembly operations and develop new ideas.
• Actively engage with peers, supervisors and management.
• Knowledge of basic 5S concepts
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and with high initiative
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
