Job Description
RISE Robotics is a high-growth technology company backed by The Engine seeking a Principal Embedded Software Engineer to develop and enhance the software powering robotic lifting solutions. The role involves collaborative development with cross-functional teams, ensuring software reliability and performance, and contributing to the engineering effort to implement electronic controls for massive machines. This is a hybrid position based in Somerville, Massachusetts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of electromechanical product software development in C, C++, and Python
- Experience with controls, brushless DC motors, and motion control systems
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently and produce robust software modules
- Familiarity with CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, and complex technical documentation
