Job Description
RingCentral is seeking a Senior VoIP Engineer to join their team and take a leading role in designing, operating, and optimizing carrier-grade telephony infrastructure.
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical operations experience in carrier-grade or service provider networks
- Deep understanding of Session Border Controllers (SBCs)
- Strong Linux/Unix Server expertise and experience with related subsystems
- Proficiency in scripting for automation and troubleshooting
- Advanced knowledge of SIP, RTP, RTCP and related VoIP protocols
- Hands-on experience capturing and analyzing SIP and RTP traces to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Strong understanding of MOS, jitter, delay, packet loss, and their impact on call quality
