Housing Program Lead

Rincon Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Housing Program Lead to support the growth of their community planning team. The role involves overseeing and expanding existing housing programs, managing teams responsible for housing elements, zoning code updates, and land use analyses. It requires collaboration with local and statewide leadership, and communication with public agency and private clients. This position is flexible, including potential remote work, with a priority given to candidates living within a 50-mile radius of an Rincon office.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or higher in urban planning, geography or a related discipline
• 10+ years of related demonstrated experience in community, long-range, and/or housing policy planning, urban design and/or environmental planning
• Experience with a private sector consulting firm
• Excellent communication, organizational, writing and presentation skills
• Strong team building and management skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
