Richmond Country Club is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Administration team, supporting the Director of Finance in managing day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, and operational financial needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in full-cycle accounting or public practice.
- Working toward a CPA designation is an asset.
- High-level working knowledge of computerized accounting systems and financial software;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and other relevant software.
- Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes, financial statement preparation, and audit support.
- Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and analytical/problem-solving abilities.
- Effective organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Supervisory and team support skills, including mentoring, task delegation, and collaboration.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both internally and externally, with a high level of professionalism.
- Integrity, accountability, and commitment to maintaining financial and ethical standards.
- Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
