Perform a variety of duties pertaining to the cleanliness and upkeep of the museum's physical space, including cleaning, arranging furniture, and performing related duties as required.
Requirements
- Ability to operate machines used in cleaning and special training in the use of cleaning products
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with a public audience
- Ability to work effectively independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to develop positive and respectful working relationships with students, staff, and faculty throughout a diverse community
- Ability to demonstrate and model good safety practices
- Scheduling flexibility, including participating in rotations to cover after-hours functions, weekends, and events
- Sensitivity to, and respect for, working in close proximity to artworks in gallery spaces with commensurate training
- Basic computer skills and/or the willingness to attend training and adapt to using required technology
