Kitchen Assistant

The Kitchen Assistant position is a floating production and service support role within Dining, assisting with back-of-house operations, customer service, and kitchen-related activities to ensure smooth operation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in food service is preferred
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety guidelines necessary
• Ability to produce desired results in a very busy kitchen environment
• Must be able to follow recipes and instructions
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrates basic math skills and the ability to follow recipes and instructions
• Must possess good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Exhibits strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
