Job Description
The MGH-Gen Maintenance Mechanic A position is focused on the Water Heating Division in Montgomery, AL. This full-time, on-site role involves performing maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and ensuring efficient operation of the facility. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, installing and testing equipment, and maintaining parts inventory.
Requirements
- Perform multi-craft tasks associated with in-plant maintenance.
- Read and interpret shop prints, schematics, and electrical blueprints.
- Locate the source of problems by observing mechanical devices.
- Identify tools, equipment, and skills used in industrial plumbing, and pipefitting.
- Install and test electrical wires, circuits, and equipment.
- Maintain parts and materials inventory.
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
