The WellFund Disability Coordinator

The WellFund Disability Coordinator builds working relationships with clients and patients, completes and follows the entire Social Security Disability process from the initial application to the final allowance or denial.

Requirements

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and telephone skills
• Maintains and/or creates files or record keeping systems
• Ensures adequate documentation is maintained, accurate and secure at all times
• Collects and reviews patient information to determine patient’s Social Security disability eligibility
• Prepares application related documents and reviews them for accuracy and completeness
• Communicate clearly, timely, and positively with patients
• Ability to learn quickly and navigate effectively through multiple systems
• Professional attitude, and able to maintain composure in urgent or confrontational situations
• Effective critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills
• Display strong organization/time management skills while working independently
• Team player attitude
• Develop and retain professional relationships with hospital and The WellFund staff
• Maintains HIPAA confidentiality at all times
• Supports the mission and goals of The WellFund
