Site Reliability Engineer

RevolutionParts is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their team. The role involves running the production environment, building software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications, and improving reliability, quality, and time-to-market of software solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related discipline
• 5+ years of coding/scripting experience with progressive expertise demonstrated in multiple roles
• Hands on experience in implementing and troubleshooting infrastructure as code using Terraform (preferred) or similar technologies (CDK, CloudFormation)
• Familiarity with one or more high-level languages, such as PHP, Python, JavaScript and, Linux
• Cloud experience with distributed storage & networking technologies such as Amazon S3, EBS, as well as dynamic resource management frameworks like Kubernetes etc.
• Proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable discussing projects with anyone from end users up to the executive leadership team
