Director of Engineering - AI

ResMed's Bengaluru Global Capability Center is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the Res AI organization and provide strategic oversight across Digital Platform Engineering teams in India. The role involves shaping technology strategy, guiding architecture, and scaling a high-performing engineering organization that powers digital experiences for patients and providers worldwide.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering
• 7+ years leading large-scale, multi-team organizations focused on AI and digital platforms/product engineering
• Strong background in building and scaling Data & AI platforms using cloud-native services
• Proven success in designing and scaling large-scale digital platforms, preferably in healthcare or regulated industries
• Expertise in cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure), microservices, containerization, and API design
• Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives, deliver complex programs, and grow engineering talent
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience collaborating across product and engineering leadership
