Job Description
The Product Development team is seeking a highly motivated Principal Solutions Architect to lead the design and technical strategy for a next-generation smart home product platform. This role involves bridging IoT devices, cloud platforms, and data pipelines to enable millions of users globally. The architect will drive scalability, security, and high-performance solutions across the device, cloud, data, and application layers within Azure-centric ecosystems. It's a critical role requiring both development and strategic experience.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in software architecture and development, including formal architecture experience
- Experience designing cloud-native, distributed systems using Azure
- Deep understanding of IoT protocols, API integration patterns, and connected device ecosystems
- Strong understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology
- Familiarity with secure design principles (GDPR, SOC-2, ISO 27001)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
