Reproductive Freedom for All is seeking an Associate Director of Federal Legislative Affairs to advance the organization's federal legislative and policy advocacy on Capitol Hill. The Associate Director will lead a portfolio of federal advocacy work related to reproductive freedom, develop legislative strategies, and represent the organization in congressional and coalition spaces.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional experience
- Four-year college degree, or demonstrated critical thinking and research skills
- Demonstrated success navigating the legislative process to effect policy change at the federal level
- Familiarity with policy and/or lobbying experience at the state and/or national level on reproductive freedom or related issues
- Proven leadership skills, and ability to manage collaborative teams working on complex, time-sensitive, and detail-oriented projects
- Staff management experience, or the demonstrated ability to support and manage a team
- Cultural competency and the ability to work with, engage with, and professionally develop individuals with different lived experiences
