Job Description
Replit is seeking an experienced Commercial Counsel to join their growing legal team. The role focuses on driving complex enterprise software negotiations and scaling their commercial legal processes. The Counsel will work closely with sales teams, navigate AI regulations, and provide strategic advisory guidance to leadership regarding commercial legal matters and future AI developments.
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
- 5-7 years of relevant legal experience supporting enterprise software sales and complex commercial transactions
- Strong background in SaaS agreements, software licensing, and technology transactions
- Proven track record of successfully closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
- Exceptional business judgment and ability to provide practical, solutions-oriented legal advice
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
- Thrives in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments
