Major Components Wind Technician

We are seeking experienced Major Components Technicians with strong knowledge of wind turbine maintenance and rigging operations to repair and troubleshoot wind turbine components. The role requires in-depth understanding of wind turbine systems, safety protocols, and adherence to industry standards. This position involves handling heavy rigging and performing repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components.

Requirements

• Two years of experience doing major corrective work
• Fundamental electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical skills
• Ability to read and understand schematics
• Ability to climb 300 feet or more regularly
• Completion of all required training
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
• Ability to work 50+ hours a week
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to travel for up to 6 weeks at a time
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
• Ability to work in inclement weather
• High School Diploma
