Job Description
We're building the home of the AI workforce at Relevance AI, and we're seeking exceptional Staff Engineers to join our AI team. As a Staff Engineer, you'll build and ship real AI features that solve customer problems across multiple industries, working across the full stack to design, build, and ship AI-powered workflows, tools, and experiences.
Requirements
- Proven staff-level experience in full-stack software development, ideally developing practical and production-ready AI applications or features that utilize Gen AI/ LLMs / RAG
- Strong programming skills in Python and Javascript, including experience using AI-assisted coding tools
- Deep understanding of foundational models, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning techniques
- Understanding of software design, service architecture, and scalable systems
- Passion for building AI-enhanced user experiences, not just theoretical ML solutions
- Prior start-up or tech company experience is a plus—especially where you’ve worn multiple hats or shaped early products
- Bonus: Side projects or open-source contributions involving building AI agents, RAG pipelines, or open-source LLM tooling
