Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist will perform professional respiratory care procedures in a safe and cost-effective manner. This role involves independent patient care, providing quality care to medical staff and other hospital staff, and supporting patient and hospital programs. The position offers 24/7 shifts and a rotating schedule with night shifts in various states.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Respiratory Care program
- Credentialed as a CRT, RRT, or APR
- Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in MN
- Current BLS/CPR – American Heart or Red Cross
- ACLS certification (within 6 months)
- Minimum of one-year acute care experience
- NICU experience preferred
- National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification required within 6 months of start date (for inpatient work)
- Minimum of one-year active practice license with the Wisconsin Department of Safety
- 24 hours/week weekly (with .6 FTE) schedule, 12-hour night shifts, every 3rd weekend obligation
