Job Description
HealthPartners is hiring a Medical Assistant/LPN/EMT for their Primary Care department at Inver Grove Heights Clinic. The position involves assisting patients with basic health care goals, documenting observations, and providing safe and accurate direct care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and laboratory procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current LPN licensure in Minnesota
- Current BLS certification for health professionals
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- One year working experience as an LPN (preferred)
- High school diploma or GED
- Graduated of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration through AAMA or AMT (preferred)
