Irrigation Technician

We are seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and upgrade residential landscape irrigation systems. This role requires strong technical skill, independent problem-solving, and a professional, team-oriented attitude.

Requirements

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential irrigation issues (leaks, valves, wiring, pressure problems, broken lines, malfunctioning controllers)
• Install, retrofit, and upgrade residential irrigation systems, including drip, spray, and smart-controller components
• Program, maintain, and audit various controller types (Hunter, Rain Bird, Toro, smart/wifi-enabled systems)
• Perform seasonal adjustments, water-efficiency assessments, and recommend system improvements
• Document all work performed, materials used, and labor hours accurately for compliance and billing
• Communicate work status, timelines, and system conditions clearly to supervisors and team members
• Assist maintenance and construction teams when additional hands are needed, supporting overall operational flow
• Operate company vehicles and tools safely while maintaining a clean, organized workspace
• Follow all company safety standards, state/local regulations, and industry best practices
