Vice President of Payments

Redwood Credit Union is seeking a Vice President of Payments to lead their Card Services and Electronic Services departments, focusing on member experience. This role involves overseeing operations, program management, and strategic planning, including a strong focus on payment strategies and regulatory compliance. Redwoods is seeking a candidate who can lead and develop team members, implement fraud prevention strategies, and work with various departments.

Requirements

• Knowledge of financial institution credit and debit card payment methods
• Experience in debit and credit card and/or electronic payments programs
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Ability to analyze problems and develop effective approaches
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and laws
• Master of a personal computer with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
