Job Description
Reddit is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join the Apps Platform team. This team focuses on improving developer efficiency and building scalable, fault-tolerant apps for Reddit's official Android app. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying applications, collaborating with product and engineering teams, and innovating new solutions to complex challenges in a constrained environment.
Requirements
- Expertise in Java or Kotlin with 5+ years of experience within Android development
- Sound software engineering fundamentals
- Experience building at least one amazing Android app with a team
- Experience building at least one Android app from start to shipment
- Willingness to embrace challenges and learn new ways to build software
