Senior Software Engineer

Recurly is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Feature Engineering organization. This role involves leading and mentoring a team of Subscription Management and Billing engineering teams, guiding them through technical challenges, and shaping a culture of continuous learning and optimization within the team. The engineer will contribute to architectural design, full-stack development, code review, performance optimization, and collaboration with product and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience as a Software Engineer
• Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails
• Strong knowledge of Golang
• Proven experience in designing and building out infrastructure and architecture
• Experience in designing and developing systems that can operate at scale
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Understanding of payment processing technologies
• Strong communication skills
