Rebellion is seeking a QA Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of software testing methodologies, excellent knowledge of bug testing and tracking software, and professional experience of testing current generation of consoles and PC platforms. The role involves writing thorough test plans, spotting risk before it hits production, and communicating clearly across teams.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of software testing methodologies
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of bug testing and tracking software (Jira/Redmine, TestRail/TestLink, Confluence/Wiki.js)
- Professional experience of testing current generation of consoles and PC platforms
- Thorough understanding of different game genres, mechanics and platforms is crucial
- Able to process strong analytical skills to identify patterns, reproduce issues and troubleshoot problems effectively
- The ability to think critically and approach testing scenarios from different angles is essential
- When required, should be able to work closely with developers, designers and other team members
- Able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced game development environment, as well as prioritise tasks, balance workload and communicate delays
- Should be adaptable to changing requirements, new tools and emerging technologies. A willingness to learn and stay updated with industry trends and advancements
