Job Description
Robert D. Niehaus, Inc. is a mission-driven economic consulting firm specializing in housing market and socioeconomic research. They are seeking an Economist to conduct applied regional economic analyses, develop data-driven workflows, and prepare reports on the cost of living for US military service members and their families. The role involves collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- US citizenship
- Pass FBI fingerprint check and National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI)
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics plus 2+ years' relevant experience, OR
- MA/MS/MBA in Economics or closely related field
- Intermediate or higher understanding of economic concepts and quantitative methods
- Intermediate or higher proficiency in R or Python
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Reliable and efficient workload management
- Advanced user of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
