Inventory Coordinator - Ravago Resale Team

The Inventory Coordinator role involves tracking, maintaining, and monitoring inventory. The role works closely with Product Specialists and Product Managers to maintain a clean and accurate inventory. The department aims to control costs and facilitate sales through proper planning and execution of a stocking program.

Requirements

• Pro-actively track and manage inbound shipments and bulk railcars
• Enter purchase orders as required to support and cover the appropriate product coordinator
• Update purchase information (dates, weights, railcar information)
• Ensure railcar details exist in the system and provide any missing information.
• Prepare and send inbound notifications to warehouses
• Prepare and send packaging instructions
• Track and monitor open and completed packaging requests
• Monitor railcar aging to minimize detention charges at warehouses and customer locations.
• Review supplier invoices for detention charges
• Receive purchase orders into inventory upon placement at warehouse
• Update batch status upon arrival at warehouse
• Track on hand inventory and monitor aged inventory
• Check for heels and maximum utilization of storage cars
• Provide COO's as necessary
• Process reclassifications of inventory for blending, packaging, corrections, etc.
• Process warehouse and intercompany transactions including triggering to transportation for shipment
• Assist with research and resolution of supplier invoice discrepancies
• Assist with inventory reconciliation
• Provide back- up coverage to Product Coordinator as needed when business conditions require
