Job Description
Radiant is a startup building mass-produced, portable nuclear microreactors. The company is seeking a Senior Tooling Engineer to develop and innovate custom tooling for their early-stage production system. This role involves collaborating with design and manufacturing teams to fabricate, assemble, and test complex mechanisms for Kaleidos reactors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- 4+ years of experience in mechanical tooling design and fabrication
- Solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Proficiency with analytical tools like ‘hand calc’ and higher fidelity finite element-based analysis methods.
- Experience with custom machine design, electromagnets, and linear rails.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
